How Do I Capture More Leads on My Website? This problem is easily solved  when you insert calls to action and landing pages on your website.

What is a call to action? A call-to-action is a give away (usually educational about your product or services) or a free evaluation or promotion that will entice users to click a button.

What is a landing page? A landing page is the web page behind the call to action that details How do I generate more leads from my website?your valuable offer and has a few fields for basic contact information for future marketing efforts. For example, one landing page could ask for a visitor's name and email address in exchange for a short e-book about your area of expertise.

How do you craft a landing page offer so enticing that your website visitors will want to share their contact information? Here are four basic steps.

1. Create a grabber headline - People's attention spans are short online. A visitor should understand "What's in it for me?" within 5 seconds.

2. Explain the value - Using short paragraphs and bullets, convey the top 3 or 4 critical pieces of information about what you are offering.

3. Use an image - Images capture people's attention immediately and should be used to reinforce the benefits of your offer.

4. Ask for the minimum amount of contact information needed - After you have exchanged their name and email address for a short e-book then you can go back to deepen the relationship. Remember, shorter forms usually result in more leads.
