Businesses with 501-1000 Facebook Followers=4x Leads and 22x Traffic

Businessses with 501 to 1,000 Facebook Followers have 4 times as many leads and 22 times as much web traffic as businesses with 1 to 25 facebook followers according to Hubspot's 2011 report entitled: "Lead-Generation Lessons Learned from 4,000 Companies." Here are all the facts and statistics:

  • Businesses with 501 to 1,000 Facebook fans had 3.5 times more traffic than those with 1 to 25 fans.
  • Businesses with over 1,000 Facebook fans had 22 times more traffic.
  • Businesses with 501 to 1,000 Facebook fans had 4 times more
    leads than those with 1 to 25 fans.
  • Businesses with over 1,000 Facebook fans had 12 times more leads
  • B2B businesses with over 1,000 Facebook fans got 6.5 times more
    leads than those with 1 to 25 fans.
  • B2C business with over 1,000 Facebook fans got 16 times more
    leads than those with 1 to 25.

By increasing your company's facebook followers, you multiply the opportunities that potential customers will read some relevant information coming from you that may help them in their problems and therefore earn their business. One way to do that is having a facebook "like" or follow button on every page. Another really good way to get followers is to ask, you have 50% more chance of getting someone to follow you when you ask.
